I’ve said it before. When it comes to design communication, I’m a bit old-fashioned. This adjective is typically not used in conjunction with Sweet Boo.

Before the internet and smart phones, there was print work. Beautifully designed brochures, advertisements and direct-mail packages. Well-branded corporate identities, complete with logo, stationery and mailing labels. Something you could hold in your hand and admire for its color, textured stock and print details. This form of communication is still around and always will be, but it has been relegated to the back seat of the supposedly sexier cousins of electronic communication.
I’m not knocking the internet. I just think print work needs to be able to ride up front again.

So in addition to your fabulous website and email marketing campaigns, don’t forget to include some well-branded print materials as part of your strategy. Your clients will love having something from you they don’t need an internet connection to read.
