What’s new? With all this extra time on my hands I decided to reach back out to my community. The last several months have taken me out of my regular monthly emails; my father passed, I moved my mother into Memory Care, and just as that was settling down . . . . well . . . you know.
So here we are. More time to work (on the projects that haven’t been cancelled or postponed), more time for those organizational projects we’re always meaning to get to (organize my fonts; organize my stock photography) and that junk drawer in the kitchen isn’t going to clean itself.
Are you new to working from home? If so, welcome. It can be an adjustment, but I’ve been doing it for years and can’t imagine it any other way. But I’m also used to getting out of the house, meeting with clients, going to networking events, maybe working from Starbucks. So being ONLY home is a bit of a challenge. Hell, I just put on lip gloss because I decided to move from my office to the back porch and got a little excited.
So let’s keep in touch. None of us are immune to what’s happening; let’s support each other. We can email, we can Zoom (I did multiples yesterday), we can send each other letters. It’s not all about what we can’t do; we CAN survive this.
Stay creative, stay positive, stay healthy.
Reach out at cheryl@sweetboodesign.com just to say hello. I’d love to hear from you.
