You remember this scenario: it’s Tuesday morning in second grade, and it’s finally your turn. YOUR TURN. You’ll get to show the entire class your _____________ (old penny found at the beach, T-shirt Grandma brought you from Spain, nose flute you stole from your brother). Everyone will think you’re the coolest kid. Ever. You can’t wait. And then . . . . . .

Crickets.

Did they not hear you? Surely, they don’t understand how important your Show and Tell item is. Why is this not resonating with them?

Truth is, we all have things that are important to us for a variety of reasons, but validation from others isn’t required. Think of something you’ve asked your spouse to throw away, and you’re met with nothing but blowback. (Remember, I just moved 🙂 ) Does it make it less important to them that you don’t understand the value? Of course not. What’s important is you own that you love what you love, regardless of what others think. And while you’re at it, don’t be afraid to show it off. #respect

So, for my own Show and Tell today, I’d like to share a few of my latest projects. I’d be thrilled for them to resonate with you, too, but I’m so excited about the work and the client relationships, that’s what I’m focused on.

This first one, for Florida Center for Healthy Living, was a different branding project for me. I loved working with this incredibly smart and talented functional medicine practitioner, who was being taken through a “branding process” for the first time. Check out her new logo here.

The second one is for a long-time friend and collaborator who has ventured out on her own. Sharing her love and expertise in the nonprofit world, Sharp 11 is destined to help incredible organizations in our area to Raise Your Voice. Click here to view their new logo.

Third, was a really fun publication project: the Fall 2017 catalog for the Boca Raton Museum of Art School. Great visuals, great subject matter, all-around fun. You can get a taste of the piece here.

Would you like to talk about showing and telling for your next project? I’m all ears, and ready to share your passion. Call me at 561.578.7019, or email me here to get started.
